ANYONE WHO ADDS YOU ON STEAM PRETENDING TO BE AN ADMINISTRATOR
IS A SCAMMER

Scams involving the Steam API key are one of the most common methods used by cybercriminals to steal items from players' inventories. In this guide, you will learn how scammers operate and how to effectively secure your account against the loss of valuable skins!
HOW DOES THE STEAM API SCAM PROCEED?
Step 1
The scammer sends a fake link that looks like the real Steam page. After entering your login and password, the data goes to the scammer.
Step 2
The scammer generates an API key, which gives them access to manage trade offers.
Step 3
Every trade is canceled and sent to the account of the impersonating scammer.
